This is a portrait I made of Marsha P. Johnson.
Marsha was an African-American transgender women who was an LGBTQ rights activist and an outspoken advocate for trans people of color.
She was an architect to some of the earliest iterations of Pride and because of her resilience in the face of bigotry and discrimination,
Pride lives to this day! 🌸
